Socket housing — a genuine BMW part, number 12 52 1 744 624. The number stamped on the part is 12521744624; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1744624. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. It supersedes the older number 1427566, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E46 body style (320i, 325i, 330i and M3, 2001–2006), with the M54 or S54 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 9 diagrams, among them Basic control unit DME (12_1081) and Basic control unit DME / EK924 (12_1133).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
