01 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→This is a genuine BMW stick-on label, part number 01 90 9 790 439. The number stamped on the part is 01909790439; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9790439. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Warrantee. It supersedes the older numbers 9790977 and 9790978, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 6 diagrams, among them Sticker, BMW (01_0637) and Sticker, BMW (01_0814). It weighs about 1 g (under 0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
