Sun visor with mirror-covering left — a genuine BMW part, number 51 16 1 977 523. The number stamped on the part is 51161977523; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1977523. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Mirrors, trims, storage compartments. It supersedes the older number 1960749, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan and coupe (318i, 320i, 325i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M50 or S50 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on the Sun visors (51_2035) diagram. It weighs about 301 g (0.7 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
