T-Connector — a genuine BMW part, number 11 73 1 261 489. The number stamped on the part is 11731261489; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1261489. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Carburettor control, vacuum lines. It supersedes the older number 1287133, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe, convertible and touring (323i and 328i, 1996–1999), with the M52 engine — and the European-market versions. It also fits the E46 sedan, coupe, convertible and touring (330d, 1999–2005), with the M57 or M57N engines.

BMW draws it on 77 diagrams, among them Rear silencer with exhaust flap (18_0236) and Rear silencer with exhaust flap (18_0297).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
