This is a genuine BMW T-shape idle regulating valve, part number 13 41 1 744 713. The number stamped on the part is 13411744713; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1744713. You will find it on our Air Intake shelf, under Other Fuel preparation and control parts. It supersedes the older number 1738981, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (320i, 323i, 325i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M50, M52, S50 or S52 engines — and the European-market versions. It also fits the E46 sedan, coupe, convertible and touring (320i, 323i and 325i, 1999–2006), with the M52 or M54 engines — and the European-market versions.
