Genuine BMW part 84 13 7 007 031: Torx bolt for plastic material. The number stamped on the part is 84137007031; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7007031. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Other Communication systems parts. It supersedes the older numbers 0403617 and 8247775, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.

It fits the E46 compact (316ti, 318td, 318ti, 320td and 325ti, 2001–2004), with the M47N, M54, N40, N42, N45 or N46 engines.

BMW draws it on 64 diagrams, among them Single Parts F Front Door Stereo System (65_1049) and Single Parts F Front Door HIFI System (65_1050). BMW's catalog calls for eight of these at each place it is fitted.
