This is a genuine BMW torx screw, part number 24 34 7 509 514. The number stamped on the part is 24347509514; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7509514. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Automatic transmission parts. It supersedes the older number 0413288, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E46 body style (320i, 323i, 325i, 328i and 330i, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54 or M56 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 7 diagrams, among them A5S325Z wiring/oil filt./pulse generator (24_0893) and GA6HP26Z Mechatronik mounting parts (24_1014). BMW's catalog calls for 14 of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 10 g (under 0.1 lb).
