This is a genuine BMW transmitter receiver module, part number 61 35 8 379 502. The number stamped on the part is 61358379502; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8379502. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Control units, modules. It supersedes the older number 8362337, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
