The number stamped on the part is 21212229011; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2229011. You will find it on our Clutch & Flywheel shelf, under Clutch with drive plate. It supersedes the older number 2228470, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 2229010.
It fits the E36 sedan, coupe and convertible (M3, 1995–1999), with the S50 engine.
BMW draws it on 3 diagrams, among them Flywheel / Twin Mass Flywheel (11_6010) and Flywheel / Twin Mass Flywheel (11_6158). It weighs about 11 kg (24 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
