Ultra sonic-module — a genuine BMW part, number 65 75 8 379 938. The number stamped on the part is 65758379938; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8379938. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Alarm system. It supersedes the older number 8369745, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 6938048.

It fits the E46 sedan, coupe and compact (320i, 323i, 325i, 328i and 330i, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54 or M56 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on the Theft Alarm with Radio Burglar Alarm (65_0486) diagram. It weighs about 40 g (under 0.1 lb).
