This is a genuine BMW universal MPQ socket housing uncoded, part number 61 13 6 984 742. The number stamped on the part is 61136984742; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6984742. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Plug connection, terminal. It supersedes the older number 8369720, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 sedan (320i, 323i, 325i, 328i and 330i, 1999–2005), with the M52 or M54 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 8 diagrams, among them Single Parts for Rear Window Wiper (61_2015) and Rear light (63_0459). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It also comes in BMW kit Supplement (0493435).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
