This is a genuine BMW universal plug uncoded, part number 61 13 8 353 732. The number stamped on the part is 61138353732; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8353732. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Plug connection, terminal. It supersedes the older numbers 1387194 and 1387196, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Various Plug Terminals/Cable Grommet (61_0090) and Switch, seat adjustment (61_0115). BMW lists the quantity used as “as required”. It weighs about 10 g (under 0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
