You will find it on our Fuel System shelf, under Fuel tank with filler pipe. It supersedes the older number 1184896, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 sedan, coupe, convertible and touring (320i, 323i, 325i, 328i, 330i and M3, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54 or S54 engines.
BMW draws it on the Fuel Tank/Attaching Parts (16_0372) diagram. It weighs about 270 g (0.6 lb).
