Video switch — a genuine BMW part, number 65 50 9 254 343. The number stamped on the part is 65509254343; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9254343. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Navigation system. It supersedes the older number 9201542, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on 22 diagrams, among them Retrofit kit, DVD changer (03_1192) and Retrofit kit, DVD changer (03_1193). It weighs about 390 g (0.9 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
