Washer — a genuine BMW part, number 07 11 9 904 209. The number stamped on the part is 07119904209; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9904209. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Group 11. It supersedes the older numbers 9936401 and 9936436, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits the E36 sedan, coupe and convertible (M3, 1995), with the S50 engine.
BMW draws it on 21 diagrams, among them Engine Suspension / Damper (11_6030) and Gas Bottle/Pressure Tubeing (13_0426). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 10 g (under 0.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kits Retrofit kit, spoiler (2486060) and Set, mounting parts, tilt stand (8524477).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
