This is a genuine BMW washer, part number 23 71 1 246 623. The number stamped on the part is 23711246623; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1246623. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Gearbox suspension. It supersedes the older numbers 0393915 and 1121349, so a part carrying any of them is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 7201571.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on 157 diagrams, among them Engine Oil Cooling (11_0720) and Emission Control-Air Pump (11_2403). It weighs about 10 g (under 0.1 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
