Sold as part of these kits
Washer — a genuine BMW part, number 51 36 8 144 798. The number stamped on the part is 51368144798; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8144798. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Body equipment parts. It supersedes the older number 0149136, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 coupe and compact (318i, 318ti, 323i, 325i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M42, M44, M50, M52, S50 or S52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 9 diagrams, among them Door Window Lifting Mechanism Rear (51_2060) and Door Window Lifting Mechanism Rear (51_2147). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It also comes in BMW kit Retrofit, visible exhaust (0445411).
