Washer-gasket — a genuine BMW part, number 26 11 1 229 503. The number stamped on the part is 26111229503; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1229503. You will find it on our Drivetrain & Axle shelf, under Other Drive Shaft parts. It supersedes the older numbers 1226615 and 1227024, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe and convertible (M3, 1995–1999), with the S50 or S52 engines. It also fits the E46 coupe and convertible (M3, 2001–2006), with the S54 engine.
