This is a genuine BMW washer-gasket, part number 33 52 6 772 864. The number stamped on the part is 33526772864; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6772864. You will find it on our Suspension shelf, under Other Rear Axle parts. It supersedes the older number 1128734, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 19 diagrams, among them Single Components for Rear Spring Strut (33_0254) and Single Components for Rear Spring Strut (33_0324). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It also comes in BMW kits Repair kit, support bearing (2241450) and Repair kit, support bearing (2241454).
