Water hose, inlet, thermostat — a genuine BMW part, number 17 12 7 520 668. The number stamped on the part is 17127520668; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7520668. You will find it on our Cooling System shelf, under Coolant lines. It supersedes the older number 7507748, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E46 body style (316i, 316ti, 318i and 318ti, 2001–2004), with the N40, N42, N45 or N46 engines.
BMW draws it on the Water hoses (17_0214) diagram. It weighs about 450 g (1.0 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
