Wind shield bracket, left — a genuine BMW part, number 46 63 7 694 709. The number stamped on the part is 46637694709; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7694709. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Motorbike fairing, windscreen. It supersedes the older number 7676629, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on 4 diagrams, among them Windscreen (46_1033) and Windscreen (46_1364). It weighs about 7 g (under 0.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kits Windshield adjustment, mechanical (7677670) and Windshield adjustment, mechanical (7694396).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
