This is a genuine BMW wiring set seat adjustment/lordosis, part number 52 10 2 695 401. The number stamped on the part is 52102695401; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2695401. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Tail trim. It supersedes the older number 2695402, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 coupe (M3, 2001–2006), with the S54 engine.
BMW draws it on the Wiring set seat (61_1220) diagram. It weighs about 70 g (0.2 lb).
