It supersedes the older numbers 7521489 and 7533272, so a part carrying any of them is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 7533268.
It fits every E46 body style (316i, 316ti, 318i and 318ti, 2004), with the N45 or N46 engines.
BMW draws it on the Alternator (12_1309) diagram. BMW lists the quantity used as “as required”. It weighs about 6.0 kg (13 lb).
