The number stamped on the part is 07129905521; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9905521. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Group 12. It supersedes the older numbers 9903352 and 9903971, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits the E46 coupe and convertible (M3, 2001–2006), with the S54 engine.
BMW draws it on 10 diagrams, among them Timing Case (11_2989) and Mounting, control carrier (11_4212). BMW's catalog calls for five of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 10 g (under 0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
