What's Included

This is a genuine BMW body nut, part number 07 12 9 901 634. The number stamped on the part is 07129901634; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9901634. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Group 12. It supersedes the older number 1944647, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E46 touring (323i and 325i, 2000–2005), with the M52, M54 or M56 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 52 diagrams, among them Trim panel, trunk lid (51_3954) and Control Unit ABS (34_0639). BMW's catalog calls for seven of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 1 g (under 0.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Installing set additional instruments (0415253).
