The number stamped on the part is 07129904223; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9904223. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Group 12. It supersedes the older numbers 9901649 and 9901660, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 185 diagrams, among them Transmission Oil Air Cooling (17_0961) and Hydro Steering-Oil Pipes (32_0932). It also comes in BMW kits BMW Performance aero kit, rear end, pr (0442894) and BMW Performance aero kit, rear end, pr (0442895) and 7 more.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
