Bulb blue f white turn indicator — a genuine BMW part, number 07 50 0 018 229. The number stamped on the part is 07500018229; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 0018229. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Group 50. BMW has since replaced it with 6934228.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i, 325i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 and other engines — and the European-market versions. It also fits the E46 sedan and coupe (316i, 1999–2003), with the M43, N40 or N42 engines.
BMW draws it on 5 diagrams, among them Bulbs blue (03_2185) and Bulbs blue (03_2186). BMW's catalog calls for four of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 8 g (under 0.1 lb).
