Navigation computer (exchange unit) — a genuine BMW part, number 65 90 9 154 053. The number stamped on the part is 65909154053; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9154053. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH-Navigation computer”. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Navigation systems. It supersedes the older number 9159130, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 9176686.

It fits every E46 body style (320i, 323i and 325i, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54 or M56 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 6 diagrams, among them Navigation computer / video module (65_0495) and Navigation system (65_0803). It weighs about 1.7 kg (3.8 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
