This is a genuine BMW manufacturer certification, part number 01 20 9 790 121. The number stamped on the part is 01209790121; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9790121. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Installation instructions. It supersedes the older number 9789660, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on the Manufacturer certification BMW (01_1410) diagram. It weighs about 22 g (under 0.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kits Two-Piece Light Alloy Rim (9409722) and Two-Piece Light Alloy Rim (9409723) and 24 more.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
