Genuine BMW part 11 25 2 246 630: Nueral/alcan piston. The number stamped on the part is 11252246630; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2246630. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Piston with rings and pin. It supersedes the older number 2243386, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan, touring and compact (318tds, 325td and 325tds, 1991–1996), with the M41 or M51 engines.

BMW draws it on 3 diagrams, among them Crankshaft-Pistons (11_1452) and Crankshaft-Pistons (11_4909). It weighs about 700 g (1.5 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
