The number stamped on the part is 12901435163; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1435163. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. It supersedes the older number 7507286, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 7569973.
It fits every E46 body style (316i, 316ti, 318i and 318ti, 2004), with the N45 or N46 engines.
BMW draws it on 4 diagrams, among them Control unit box (12_1203) and Control unit box (12_1234). BMW's catalog calls for four of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 10 g (under 0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
