This is a genuine BMW radio remote control Luxury Line, part number 66 12 9 266 846. The number stamped on the part is 66129266846; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9266846. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Radio-controlled locking system. It supersedes the older numbers 2296753 and 9263334, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on 6 diagrams, among them Radio remote control (41_1898) and Key (41_2131). It weighs about 30 g (under 0.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kits Set, key, with FEM control unit (0038900) and Set, key, with FEM control unit (0038906) and 13 more.

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
