The number stamped on the part is 65128386127; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8386127. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Radio, amplifier, CD player. It supersedes the older numbers 1375738 and 8378759, so a part carrying any of them is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 1375737.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 27 diagrams, among them Single Components Stereo System (65_0200) and Single Components HIFI System (65_0201). It weighs about 82 g (0.2 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
