The number stamped on the part is 64509123157; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9123157. You will find it on our AC & Climate Control shelf, under Compressor, magnetic clutch. It supersedes the older numbers 1718569, 6961200 and 8248320, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 244 diagrams, among them Emission Control-Air Pump (11_2193) and Suction Silencer/Filter Cartridge (13_1708). It also comes in BMW kits Set of sealing and fastening parts (0152418) and Set, mounting parts, bumper, rear (2293990) and 5 more.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
