What's Included

This is a genuine BMW shaft seal with lock ring, part number 33 10 7 505 602. The number stamped on the part is 33107505602; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7505602. You will find it on our Suspension shelf, under Rear-axle-drive parts. It supersedes the older number 1214100, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 18 diagrams, among them Drive Flange Suspension/Gasket (33_0095) and Drive Flange Suspension/Gasket (33_0097). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 37 g (under 0.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Gasket Set Differential (1214117).
