15 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→Sleeve — a genuine BMW part, number 23 13 1 282 528. The number stamped on the part is 23131282528; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1282528. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Manual gearbox parts. It supersedes the older number 1282427, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 7502724.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on 9 diagrams, among them Getrag 280 Housing+attaching Parts (23_0214) and Getrag 280 Housing+attaching Parts (23_0216). It weighs about 8 g (under 0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
