04 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→This is a genuine BMW sleeve, part number 23 13 7 545 703. The number stamped on the part is 23137545703; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7545703. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Manual gearbox parts. It supersedes the older number 7502724, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i, 325i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 and other engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 36 diagrams, among them S6s420g Housing+attaching Parts (23_0219) and S5D...G housing + mounting parts (23_0234). It weighs about 10 g (under 0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
