This is a genuine BMW torx-bolt with washer, part number 54 12 8 130 016. The number stamped on the part is 54128130016; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8130016. You will find it on our Exterior Body shelf, under Other Sliding Roof / Folding Top parts.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe, touring and compact (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i, 325i and 328i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 8 diagrams, among them Lateral trim panel rear (51_4149) and Slid.Lift. Roof-Cover/Ceiling Frame (54_0185). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted.

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
