Genuine BMW part 66 12 6 933 720: Universal key with remote control. The number stamped on the part is 66126933720; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6933720. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Radio-controlled locking system. It supersedes the older numbers 6920680 and 6933719, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits the E46 sedan (318i, 1997–1999), with the M43 engine.
BMW draws it on the Key with accumulator battery(from 09/99) (41_1330) diagram. It weighs about 30 g (under 0.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Set of Keys with EWS Control Unit (0030949).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
