This is a genuine BMW universal key with remote control, part number 66 12 6 955 747. The number stamped on the part is 66126955747; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6955747. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Radio-controlled locking system. It supersedes the older numbers 6933723 and 6955749, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.

BMW draws it on 4 diagrams, among them Key with accumulator battery(from 09/99) (41_1330) and Key with accumulator battery (41_1476). It weighs about 20 g (under 0.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kits Set of Keys with EWS Control Unit (0008579) and Set of Keys with EWS Control Unit (0031981) and 2 more.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
