Genuine BMW Part
Photos coming soon
This is a genuine BMW dowel, part number 11 12 1 278 954. The number stamped on the part is 11121278954; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1278954. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Cylinder head with cover. It supersedes the older number 0601105, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 1726238.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
It weighs about 2 g (under 0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
