The number stamped on the part is 11127501428; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7501428. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Cylinder head with cover. BMW has since replaced it with 7606504.
It fits every E46 body style (316i, 316ti, 318i and 318ti, 2001–2004), with the N42 or N46 engines.
BMW draws it on 8 diagrams, among them Cylinder head (11_3177) and Cylinder head (11_3911). BMW's catalog calls for three of these at each place it is fitted.
