Genuine BMW part 12 14 7 563 924: Basic control unit DME (exchange unit). The number stamped on the part is 12147563924; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7563924. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH Basic control unit DME”. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. It supersedes the older number 7532789, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E46 coupe and convertible (318i, 2004), with the N46 engine.
