This is a genuine BMW basic control unit DME (exchange unit), part number 12 14 7 586 137. The number stamped on the part is 12147586137; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7586137. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH Basic control unit DME”. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts.
