Genuine BMW part 24 60 7 508 145: Basic control unit EGS (exchange unit). The number stamped on the part is 24607508145; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7508145. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH Basic control unit EGS”. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Automatic transmission parts. It supersedes the older number 1423955, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E46 sedan, coupe and touring (325i and 330xi, 2001–2005), with the M54 engine — and the European-market versions.
