Genuine BMW part 12 52 0 007 253: Flat spring contact MDK4 2.8 with cable. The number stamped on the part is 12520007253; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 0007253. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. It supersedes the older number 0141127, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 18 diagrams, among them Cylinder head Vanos (11_2170) and Cylinder head Vanos (11_6209). It weighs about 14 g (under 0.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Repair kit (0492917).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
