What's Included

Sold as part of these kits

Flat spring contact MDK4 2.8 with cable — a genuine BMW part, number 12 52 0 007 255. The number stamped on the part is 12520007255; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 0007255. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. It supersedes the older numbers 0141130 and 1719515, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 8 diagrams, among them Laminated contacts/spring contacts (12_1043) and Laminated contacts/spring contacts (12_1150). BMW lists the quantity used as “as required”. It weighs about 6 g (under 0.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Repair kit (0492922).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
