It supersedes the older number 1212464, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 7621206.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti and 320i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
