It supersedes the older number 1435938, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 7509111.
It fits the E46 sedan, coupe and touring (316i, 316i 1.6, 316i 1.9 and 318i, 1997–2001), with the M43 engine.
