Genuine BMW part 12 14 1 406 210: Control unit DME programmed (exchange unit). The number stamped on the part is 12141406210; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1406210. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH control unit DME programmed”. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. BMW has since replaced it with 1406442.

It fits the E36 coupe (M3, 1996–1999), with the S52 engine.
